Fakenham Town Football Club is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Ian “Jigger” Jones, who led the Ghosts to their highest-ever position at Step 5 football during the 1998/99 season, finishing as runners-up in the ECL Premier Division.

That memorable season also included a victory in the Norfolk Senior Cup at Carrow Road. Jigger managed the club for two years, leaving a lasting impact during his time with us. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Jigger.
